10 passengers killed, 7 injured In Lagos-Ibadan Auto Crash
A ghastly auto crash around 5am along the popular Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Tuesday around 5am claimed the lives of ten passengers when two vehicles crashed.
The accident occurred around the kara turning, towards the interchange area of the highway.
A spokesperson for the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, command in Ogun State, Florence Okpe says seven other persons were injured.
She gave the details of the two vehicles as an ash-coloured Toyota Haice bus and an orange-coloured Iveco truck .
She said a total of 18 male adults were involved in the crash, with excessive speeding being the likely cause of the accident.
