17 oil bunkering suspects arrested by NSCDC in Delta

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps have arrested seventeen suspects who were conveying eight tankers containing over three hundred and sixty thousand illegally refined automated gas oil.

The public relations officer of NSCDC, Emeka Peters while parading the suspects said the civil defense is committed to ridding the state of vandalism and illegal oil bunkering and called for quicker dispensation of justice.

He disclosed the arrest was possible following the Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad efforts to fight against vandalism, illegal oil Bunkering, and crude oil theft in the Niger Delta region.
