19 ships with petroleum products, others to berth at Lagos port_ NPA
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says it is expecting 19 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods from Jan. 15 to 25.
NPA announced this in its publication, `Shipping Position’, a copy of which was made available to newsmen in Lagos on Friday.
According to the organisation, the ships are expected to berth at the Lagos Port Complex.
The ships according to the publication contain bulks of sugar, wheat, salt as well asfrozen fish, bulk malt, base oil, automobile gasoline and other cagoes.
Meanwhile, another seven ships that had arrived the ports were waiting to berth with bulk wheat, sugar and petrol.
Already, sixteen other ships were at the ports discharging general cargoes, bulk wheat, petrol, frozen fish, bulk fertilizer, butane gas, base oil and sodium carbonate.
