2023: A governorship candidate promises to rejig governance to impact peace, progress in Cross River
The governorship candidate of the National Rescue Movement-NRM, in Cross River State is poised to provide leadership, innovation, peace and progress if voted into office.
Mr. Patrick Solomon disclosed this in a parley with newsmen on Friday, December 30, 2022, during the mounting of billboards along Marian Road by Atekong Junction in Calabar, Cross River State.
Mr. Solomon who was assisted by his deputy Mr. Mathias Amgbah said the mantra of his leadership if elected would hinge on his attitude of submission and dependence on God as reflected in all efforts of NRM towards the 2023 general elections.
According to him, the effort challenges the existing political blocks and is expected to cause a paradigm shift from the status quo. As an Ambassador of the masses with love and seeking to do God’s will his innovative leadership would rob off on generating peace and progress.
He concluded by calling on the electorates to reject candidates who come to provide them rice and other greek gifts to win their votes but turned them afterward into slaves in their four-year tenure. He vowed to change the retrogressive trend and charge INEC to conduct a free and credible election so that God’s perfect will prevail in 2023.
