2023 Cross River Governorship Race: Suliaman Offiong declares under APC platform

A traditional title holder in Ugep, Yakurr Local Government Area of Cross River State, and a businessman from Ikot Ishie town in Calabar Municipal Council in Cross River State, Obol Alhaji Suliaman Offiong has declared to contest for the top office under the APC platform in 2023 elections.

Alhaji Suliaman who read Mechanical Engineering is Chairman of Living Spring Micro-finance Bank and Hotel and distributor with Lafarge Holcium Company in Mfamosing in Akamkpa Local Government Area of Cross River State.

While fielding questions from a LENS Reporter at his declaration at APC Ward Six Secretariat, the Director-General of his Campaign Organisation, Engineer Abang Fabian stated that his principal campaign agenda is hinged on 10 point promise to restore Cross River State to its Donald Duke days of glory by providing free primary education, free medical health care, payment of pensions and gratuities as at when due.

Others are revamping of moribund industries like Tinapa, Obudu Ranch Resort, upgrading and provisions of infrastructures plus payment of salaries, promoting of civil servants, and creating of Agro-based industries and estates for gainful youth employment thereby curbing restiveness among others.
