2023 General Elections: Okowa, others visit Obasanjo in Abeokuta

Some leaders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council have paid a visit to former President Olusegun Obasanjo at his Presidential Library penthouse in Abeokuta.

The team is led by the Vice Presidential candidate and governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa, the Director General of the Presidential Council and governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, and former Jigawa State governor, Sule Lamido

Speaking after about two hours of the closed-door session, Aminu Tambuwal said the team was in Abeokuta “to pay their usual respect and to continue to consult their leader, former President Olusegun Obasanjo on matters of national interest and they had a very fruitful conversation.

Others in the team were the former Governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, former Cross River State governor, Liyel Imoke, and Otunba Oyewole Fasawe.
