2023: House of Reps candidate for Akamkpa/Biase fed constituency promise to rejig representation
The former chairman of Biase Local Government Council in Cross River State and All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate for the Akamkpa/Biase House of Representatives seat in the 2023 general elections, Hon. Onun Emil Inyang has vowed to rejig representation in the lower chamber of the National Assembly if voted into office.
Iyang made the claim while fielding questions from newsmen in Calabar on Sunday, January 8, 2023.
He said that since Rt. Hon. Daniel Asuquo aka “DANSUKI” representing Akamkpa/Biase Federal Constituency is contesting as Labour Party (LP) candidate for the senate position in Cross River State Southern Senatorial District, it is needful of him to step in to start from where he is vacating to transform the hitherto neglected constituency and attract needed national bounty to the people of the area.
Onun Inyang is challenging Hon. Austin Aidam of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Jesse William Ejemot of the Labour Party are also contesting to represent the Federal Constituency in the National Assembly.
