2nd day blockage of highway in Edo leaves travelers stranded

The continuous blockage of the Benin/ Sapele road bypass by protesters over the deplorable state of that axis of the highway has negatively impacted the lives of the people.

Residents in the State are calling on the federal and state governments to intervene quickly as they say the action of the protesters has now taken its toll on travelers and residents of the state.

The Stranded travelers and commuters are appealing to relevant authorities to come and address the protesters who have blocked the highway for the second day in protest against the deplorable condition of roads in the area.
