A’ Ibom to Resume Schools on Monday after Lockdown
The Akwa Ibom State Government has declared a phased resumption of all schools in the state. The disclosure was made by Ini Emem-obong, Commissioner for Information and Strategy who said after the State Executive Council meeting in Uyo that academic activities at all levels including tertiary institutions are to reopen from Monday, September 21, 2020.
This development is not unconnected with the seeming flattening of the pandemic curve in globally and Nigeria in particular. Akwa Ibom is joining other states in the federation to resume schools at all levels from Monday for those with a timetable of resumption of academic activities.
