APC pledge 40 million votes for Tinubu/Shetima in Calabar

The All Progressive Congress South-South mega zonal women’s rally was held in Calabar at the U.J. Esuene stadium on Saturday in support of the party’s Presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu pledged 40 million votes through the national women leader, Dr Beta Edu.

Dr. (Mrs.) Linda Ayade the First lady of Cross River State charged women to reciprocate the good gesture of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who has been supportive of women in politics and other endeavors. She said as they return to their states and local government areas, they should mobilize women to vote for Tinubu/Shetima ticket in the 2023 presidential election.

In his remark, Barrister Alphonsus Eba the APC Chairman in Cross River State pledged to use his office to ensure victory for the party at the polls as over five hundred thousand votes remain intact for Tinubu/Shetima in the state and promised that Cross River State will deliver APC from the top to bottom. He urged the women to heed the advice of Dr. (Mrs.) Linda Ayade to get their unclaimed PVC and ready to make their voices visible through their votes thus showing that South-South women are ready for the Tinubu/Shetima Administration in 2023.

The rally which attracted several dignitaries also had Zahra Buhari-Indimi, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and Hajiya Nana Shettima who earlier paid a courtesy visit to the Obong of Calabar, Edidem Ekpo Okon Abasi Otu V.
