APC presidential candidate promises to complete Ibom Deep Seaport, reminds electorates of their powers in electing leaders

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured the electorates that nobody will deny them the opportunity and determination to vote for candidates of their choice in the forthcoming general elections in the country.

He said the power to elect the next President, national and state house of assembly members, and governors is on the people.

Tinubu spoke yesterday at a presidential rally held at the Nest of Champion Stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, and the presentation of the flag to the APC governorship candidate in the State, Obong Akan Udofia.

He told the mammoth crowd that his power to become president of the country rests on the people, promising to eradicate poverty, create employment and make Nigerians happy.

He said his presidential ambition is a revolution to change the hopeless of Nigerians to happiness, guaranteeing that scarcity of fuel and gas in the country will be no more if elected as the President of Nigeria.

“God will put you in the right direction to vote for the right person. I guarantee you that fuel scarcity will stop. You will not suffer again. Go and get your PVC and vote for the right person.”, he said

Tinubu pointed out that APC will sweep all the elective positions from the governorship, House of Assembly, National Assembly, and the Presidential, stressing that only the electorate can make that possible.

He promised to ensure that the Ibom Deep Seaport in Akwa Ibom State sees the light of day, saying he has completed a seaport in Lagos and therefore has the experience on how best to complete one for the state.

The APC Presidential hopeful said his tenure as President will witness merchandise family and exportation of food.

He said the symbol of the party, the broom is for revolution. “We have enough gas reserves in Nigeria. What we need to do is to develop the country. We will not suffer again.”, he said.

The Senate President, Ahmed Lawan had said the crowd at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium is indicative of the level of acceptance of the APC by the people of the state.

He assured that the party’s presidential candidate has the capacity to bring about employment opportunities as well as create entrepreneurial channels for Nigerian women.

The Senate President however cautioned leaders and stakeholders of the APC in Akwa Ibom State on the need to unite and bring the party to the mainstream of Nigerian politics in the interest of their teaming followers.

“We need Akwa Ibom into the mainstream of Nigerian politics. Our leaders in Akwa Ibom; all these crowds are following after us, let’s unite.”, he stressed.

On his part, the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Obong Umana Okon Umana said the people of the state believe in the APC Presidential candidate.

“Akwa Ibom people are aware of the benefits the state derives under President Buhari’s administration. Buhari promised change and delivered.

“We know you from your antecedent. We want to assure you that the state will vote for you massively during the presidential election and other elections.

The vice chairman of the presidential campaign committee of APC, senator Godswill Akpabio described the rally as a celebration of victory for Bola Tinubu.

He said the time has come for new hope, blessing, and peace for Nigerians.
