Attack o Presidential guard attempted coup_Unionist

The former Assistant National Secretary of the National Union of Petroleum, Energy and Natural Gas of Nigeria (NUPENG) and retired Senior Staff of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) now the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, Comrade Martin Barama Bujor has described the repeated attacks on the convoy of Muhammadu Buhari as an attempted coup to kill the President.

Comrade Barama made the statement Wednesday while fielding questions from a LENS reporter in his office in Calabar which hosted the pan Nigeria Presidency of Igbo Extraction Coalition-PANDIEC.

The onetime Zonal chairman (Port Harcourt) of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria- PENGASSAN and South-South coordinator of PANDIEC is an advocate of restructuring the political setting in the country to promote inclusion of the federating nationalities.

Also, he called on President Buhari to do the needful by finding a lasting solution to the lingering Academic Staff Union of Universities ASUU) strike which has forced the Nigeria Labour Congress -NLC to go on solidarity protest to demand that the government honour the 2009 agreement with the academic union in the interest of our children aside from salvaging the declining standard of education in Nigeria.
