BREAKING: Tinubu withdraws Maryam Shetty, nominates Keyamo

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has withdrawn the nomination of Maryam Shetty as minister-nominee for screening.

President of the Senate, Godswill AKpabio disclosed this while reading a letter from the president on the Senate chamber on Friday.

Meanwhile, the president has also announced nomination of Festus Keyamo and Mairiga Mhamood as replacements for Maryam Shetty.

In a related development, the president has also written the senate for the implementation of the resolutions from the recent ECOWAS meeting of authority of heads states and government held on Sunday.

Already the senate has dissolved into committee of a whole to begin screening of new ministerial nominees.
