Calabar-based business mogul commends Otu’s presence at 2025 Leboku festival

The presence of Cross River State Executive Governor, His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu at 2025 International Leboku New Yam Festival held at Ugep in Yakurr Local Government Area has continued to draw accolades from within and outside the State.

The latest commendation is from a Calabar based businessman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Drone Realty & Resources Ltd. Mr. George Israel Akpan while fielding questions from newsmen on Wednesday August 27, 2025 in Calabar.

Mr. Akpan described His Excellency’s presence at the August event alongside revamping the Ekumini Water-falls added grandeur to the Leboku 2025 International New Yam Festival thus impacting nature, culture and tourism.

He eulogizes the Governor for fostering multi-cultural ties in the state and making them resonate with the Carnival Calabar Festival, the biggest street party in Africa which has positioned the State as a top tourism destination of the world.
