Calabar Municipal Council Relocates Road Side Traders

The Calabar Municipal Council has relocated road side traders from Akpabuyo park axis of Marian market to a temporary location beside the site of ultramodern shopping complex still under construction.

In a chart with Lens reporter on behalf of the mayor and chairman of Calabar Municipal Council, Hon. (Prince) Effefiong Nta Eke, Chief Protocol Officer Mr. Okereke Mong frowned at the earlier publication noting that Council had good plans to give the traders a befitting place before the unfortunate incident.

He said Council would continue to broker as well as maintain cordiality not only with the traders but residents in the municipality which is host of the Christmas Village.
