Christians urged to humble themselves to be exalted

The Senior Pastor of Assemblies of God Church, Grace Arena, State Housing Estate in Calabar, has admonished Christians to humble themselves in any position of authority in order to be exalted.

Rev. Joseph Ugbe Unimniake gave the charge in a sermon he preached at a revival programme tagged: “that He may increase and I may decrease” culled from John 3:30, James 5:16 “He must increase, but I must decrease.” He stressed that pride brings a person down but humility exalts one.

In his contribution, Assistant Pastor  Sylvester Ekanem thanked God for the success of the programme which featured guest ministers, songs, and outpouring of the Holy Ghost.
