Life has indeed returned to the quiet and slippery Nyahasang Community, a Calabar suburb as the Christian Pentecostal Mission International (CPM) has upgraded the access road in the area.
Rev. Peter Joseph, Cross River State coordinator, Christian Pentecostal Mission International (CPM) spoke with our correspondent in Calabar during the 5-day crusade in the area.
He explained that the church was opening a branch at Nyahasang for the first time and that wherever the church goes it brings development to the host community.
“We have brought development to the community by providing that access road. We have sand filled it, made it compact and today it is motorable. People are driving in and out with ease”.
“Any where we go we bring development. We bring out the glory of God because the presence of the Lord solves every problem, he added”
The Clergy further said “ last Saturday we provided free medical treatment, administered free eye test and also provided drugs to the people”
“Today we are giving out 35 pieces of wrappers and 40kgs of rice to the widows and conclude the final ministration.”
An elder in the church who spoke with our correspondent also said that CPN recognized members of the community where ever they go and appeal to the community members to attend the church service since a branch was now in their domain.
He hinted as well that there have been lot of testimonies upon testimonies since the 5-days duration of the crusade and assured that God will visit each and everyone specifically at their point of wants.
