Clergy commends former President Jonathan for asking Nigerians to shun monetary inducement in 2023 Elections

The General Overseer of Transformation Gospel Centre located along Marian road in Calabar, Cross River State has praised the former President of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for his timely advice to Nigerians not to elect officials who will buy their conscience during the 2023 electoral season.

Pastor (Dr.) Donatus John made the statement in a chat with LENS reporter in Calabar on Sunday where he corroborated the confession by the former Edo State Governor and ex-National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress Comrade Adams Oshiomole that President Johnathan was an Angel they pushed out of office in 2015 according to it the greatest mistake done to the man of honour at the polls even though he performed creditably well while in office. The logic of multi-party democracy in his assessment is that “even an angel can be defeated” as Jonathan set a standard none of his successors can afford to go above his legacy.

John referencing proverbs 29:2 “when the righteous rule, the people rejoice, when the wicked rule, the people groan” begged eligible voters to heed former President Jonathan’s plea to Nigerians not to support candidates who would Jeopardize the future of their offspring in 2023 elections.

Pastor John is a called evangelist with an Apostolic and Prophetic ministry who ministers the undiluted word of God with power, with signs and wonders following. He has travelled with the gospel to many nations of the world like South Africa, Ethiopia, Zambia, Uganda, Kenya, Togo, Benin Republic, Ghana, Niger Republic, Malawi, Rwanda, Cameroun, Zimbabwe and Burundi where the Transformation Gospel Centre has branches.
