Clergy Urges Nigerians to look unto God for help

The district overseer of Faith and Works Deliverance Ministries Inc. Apostle Paul Godwin has advised people in distress to look unto God for help rather than depending on the powers of men and the devil.

Apostle Godwin gave the admonition in a sermon he preached in District 2 Conversation held from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th September 2021 at No 9 Orok Street headquarters of the church in Calabar with Theme, “Help From Above” referencing Psalm 121 vs 2.

The program which had Evang. E. G. Etim, deputy district overseer and Pastor Samuel Ekanem as speakers, encouraged people facing financial and other challenges as occasioned by the current economic downturn from Covid-19 pandemic to anchor their hope and trust in God for divine turnaround instead of on men who may disappoint at any time.

The spiritual gathering featured Bible exposition, seminar, choir ministration by faith voices, intercessory prayers for the nation, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit baptism, healings for the sick, deliverance from satanic bondage, miracles, and testimonies from the congregants. The covid-19 protocol was observed throughout the three days event.
