Clergymen harps on messages of Easter
Ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ raised in unison to propagate messages of the death and resurrection of the lord and saviour of the universe in their Easter convention programmes.
Pastor Joseph Ogon, the presiding minister of Living Sacrifice Church, congregating at Formular guest house conference hall on Atekong Drive, opposite Gomez plaza, Calabar posited that there is freedom from satanic operation given the finished work of salvation on the cross of calvary where Jesus was crucified for the salvation of mankind from the grip of sin.
He predicted spiritual emancipation for the black race all over the world through the labour of love exhibited by Simon of Cyrene, a black man from Africa who bore the burden of carrying the cross to Golgotha which all Africans who believe in Jesus Christ would be partakers of the crucifixion glory as pinned in Mathew 27 VS 32.
Apostle Paul Godwin, the district overseer of Faith and Works Deliverance Ministry located at 9 Orok street, Calabar has come up with the Easter message themed: “From death to life” referencing Mathew 28 vs 7.
Pastor (Dr.) Donatus John, General Overseer of Transformation Gospel Centre, located at 110 Marian road by Fiest Fries has as theme: ‘The Mystery of the cross.’
All the events are billed to happen on good Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th April at church venues.
