Cleric Advocates Justices and Equality as Panacea To Leadership Problem

The Coordinator Cross River Prayer Summit 2020 in conjunction with churches in Calabar Rev. Ugochukwu Nkem Okike has proponed for fair sharing and distribution of the Nation’s resources equally irrespective of religion or tribe as a panacea to leadership solutions in the country.

He spoke in a chat with news men in Calabar a head of today Saturday and tomorrow Sunday crusade holding at the Church of Redemption University of Calabar (UNICAL) auditorium.

Rev. Okike who is also Senior Pastor Jesus Life Gospel Ministries INT’L In Calabar said that Patriotism and Equity should be the driving force in solving leadership problems in Nigeria noting that when there is no justice and equity there will be no peace in the land.

The Senior Pastor Jesus Life Gospel Ministries lamented that the situation where the resources of the land were gotten from one geographical part of the country but were not used to the benefit of that area does not please God because it is not done with the fear of God.

Rev. Ugochukwu Okike disclosed that the Cross River prayer Summit 2020 is an offshoot of Calabar Prophetic Crusade in 1999 where the former governor of the state Mr. Donald was dedicated.

According to him since then the Prayer Summit has been going on and that prayers have been held for the land and other internal prophetic meetings on the street.

The coordinator revealed further that the Prayer Summit has recorded numerous since its first outing in 1999 and that its first prophecy was that Donald Duke Administration will record tremendous achievements which the state witnessed.

He further said the meeting helped the late Obong of Calabar Prof. Nta Elijah Henshaw to mobilize the land to prayer at the Obong’s palace continued many years until his demise.

“This particular programme is tagged Sacrifice of Worship” which God has instructed to mobilize the body of Christ to worship in place of Blood, Sacrifice, Violence and Terror in the land which has destroyed many things.

“The meeting is to worship God about armed robbery, kidnapping and cult groups clashing among others which have been happening in the land”.

Rev. Okike further said “The prayer summit is the body that upholds the hand in prayer. The stand on behalf of the land, bear the burden of the land, government, progress and peace for good things to happen in Calabar”.

The lens gathered that many anointed men of God will be ministering, some would be guest artists and that about 500 persons will be attending the crusade.
