Cleric charges Christians to imbibe wisdom in giving at harvest

The District Pastor of The Apostolic church Nigeria, Ikot Ansa District, Ikot Efa Area in Calabar Field, Pastor S.A. Igwe has admonished Christians to imbibe the spirit of wisdom during harvest.

Igwe who spoke through Assistant Pastor (Chief Magistrate) Ndarake Ita Ndarake of the Cross River State Judiciary gave the charge in a sermon titled “WISDOM FOR HARVEST” referencing Genesis 8:22 “while the Earth remained, Seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day night shall not cease.”

He implored adherents of the faith to use wisdom in giving at every harvest as this is the only way to reap bountiful reward from God at the 2nd Term Harvest thanksgiving Service on Sunday September 15th 2024 in Calabar, Cross River State.

He said though there is provision for people to return all thanks and glory to God who nourishes our seeds during planting, as benefactors of his benevolence, we have to possess the right wisdom in giving during harvest to receive the appropriate reward in due season as harvest-time is God’s guarantee for blessings.

The Area Supervisor of The Apostolic church Nigeria, Ikot Efa Area and Executive Council Member of The Apostolic church Nigeria, Calabar Field, Cross River State Territory, Pastor J. I. Enya prayed for God to bless, protect and guard all harvesters overlooking another harvest period.

The event featured choir ministration, testimonies and word ministration.
