Cleric predicts economic prosperity for Nigeria

Despite multiple incidences of mass looting of food in warehouses and food trucks in recent times and which is becoming more frequent in Nigeria occasioned by the prevailing economic hardship owing to the sudden removal of subsidy in pms and the single foreign exchange rate by the Tinubu-led government, a clergy and Senior Pastor of Living Word International City Church (LWIC) a.k.a Eagle City International church, Apostle Saviour Elijah has predicted that Nigeria will soon witness economic turn-around that will recede many years of sorrow.

The clergy gave the message in a sermon he preached at a two day crusade themed: “ASIM ITA FOR CHRIST”, held at Asim Ita open field off Ikot Ansa bus stop in Calabar, on Tuesday May 7, 2024 referencing Romans 8:18, “For I reckon that the suffering of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us” positing that every ugly and adverse situation in life has an expiring date when God unveils his glorious manifestation to those that put their trust and believe in Him.

Doubling down, he revealed that since the major religions in the country are populated by those in government which we must always pray for them to succeed, the children of God should not lose hope as better days is coming soon after this present hardship which is a stepping stone to better days just like the children of Israel passed through hardship in the wilderness before entering the promised land. He issued warning to those who mourn and murmur over the hardship in the country saying it is a sin against God.

He concluded by exhorting Nigerians irrespective of religious or political divide to develop the spirit of praise and worshiping God in every circumstance as nothing can stop God from performing his miracles to fulfill his prophecy in the country as tough times don’t last, but tough and God’s people do.

Eagle City International Church is a full gospel ministry where the undiluted word of God is preached to bring salvation to the people.
