Cleric proffer solution to surviving hard times

A clergy Apostle Elijah Effiong Eyo aka PROPHET ODUDU I have urged Christians to imbibe godly character and bear fruits of the spirit to survive in this hard time occasioned by the fuel scarcity and cash crunch arising from the CBN currency policy and compounded by political uncertainty being an optic of the recently concluded general elections.

Prophet Odudu I speaking through Pastor (Mrs.) Iquo Ekpo said though the fruits are characteristics of Jesus that are displayed in the life of the believer through the power of the Holy Spirit as referenced in “Galatians 5: 22-23” listed them as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, long suffering, faith, meekness and temperance.

And drawing her Thursday message from the book of Esther 4:1: “Go gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day; I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in into the king, which is not according to the law and if I perish, I perish” said in a sermon titled “Mantle of Grace and Favour” in the mid-week service at New World Apostolic Miracle Church auditorium admonished Christians to emulate Esther in their present predicament in order to triumph like the Jews in Shushan.

She concluded by saying that the mantle of Grace and God’s favour will fall on every believer who has the gifts of the fruits of the Holy Spirit.

Doubling down that the seven gifts of the Holy spirit which Queen Esther used to overcome the wicked plan of Haman in the scriptures include wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety and the fear of the lord.
