Cleric proffers divine intervention as panacea to slowing economic hardship in the country
As millions of Nigerians continue to suffer economic hardship due to the policies of government, a cleric and assistant pastor of the voice of Jesus Healing Outreach (VOJHOR), an inter-denominational prayer fellowship, Rev. Henry Ibobo has called for divine intervention to recede impact of intolerable hardship on the people.
Rev. Ibobo who gave the charge in a sermon he preached at the weekly prayer/fasting session held Thursday May 16, 2024 in Calabar, title: “Divine Intervention” referencing Exodus 16:4 “Then said the lord unto Moses, Behold I will rain bread from heaven for you and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law or not,” revealed that God would replicate the miracles He did for the children of Israel in the wilderness on their way to the promise land. He averred that Christians in the country would live in abundance even in this economic hardship if they don’t doubt but trust and hope in Him as the provider who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think according to Ephesians 3:20-21.
Ibobo who doubles as head of AG Cares stressed that believers should remain steadfast in their prayers, faith and unwavering even in the face of trials, setbacks and failures.
The Voice of Jesus Healing Outreach led by Rev. Samuel O. Paul with a burden to evangelize the world through crusades and win souls to Christ according to the divine mandate is situated at No. 5 Omori Okang Close Ediba, off Marian road, Calabar.
