Cleric proffers means of slowing corruption to stabilize economy

A cleric and lead pastor of the place of Fire and Transformation Ministry aka “THE FURNACE” has called on Nigerians to develop hatred for and fight corruption in the society in order to stabilize the economy and bring dawn the inflation

This is prompted by his concern over the soaring inflation in the country occasioned by rising exchange rate of naira to the dollar which has impacted negatively on the economy of the country.

Pastor Hotom Azuma gave the charge in a sermon delivered at the 3rd anniversary and convention of the church, tagged “IN THE DAYS OF THY POWER” on Sunday February 4, 2024 at 35 Bishop Moynagh Avenue, State Housing Estate, Calabar, Cross River State.

Referencing Jeremiah 32:17 and Matthew 19:29 “’Ah lord God ! Behold, thou made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm and there is nothing too hard for thee, opined that the lord will bless thy labours with spiritual, physical, financial and material blessings and keep Nigerians healthy and save to enjoy the blessings and make his face to shine upon us and give us the peace that surpasses all understanding in Jesus if only we will abhor cheating and embezzlement of public funds meant for the people and sinful living.

Doubling down, he said the redeeming, refining and reviving power of God is able to do all things for Nigerians to enjoy the benefits of democracy if we can kill corruption in all facets of our dealings in the society to stabilize the economy.

The occasion was graced by Holy Spirit anointed men of God that ministered in songs and gospel among whom were Pastor Sunday Begua, David Arogundade, Emmanuel Bassey and Samuel Utum.

The 5 day program started on Wednesday January 31, 2024 and wind down on Sunday February 4, 2024 featuring testimonies, choir ministration, miracles and impartation under the unction of the Holy Ghost with worshipers drawn from within and outside the state.
