Cleric says deseased pastor after attempting 40 days fasting was ignorant
The untimely death of a 39 – year – old pastor from Mozambique who died after attempting to replicate Jesus Christ’s biblical accomplishment of fasting 40 days and 40 nights concurrently without food and water has been described as ignorance and lack of knowledge.

Pastor Francisco Barajah, the founder of the Santa Trindale Evangelical Church and a French teacher in the town of Messica bordering Zimbabwe had fasted for 25 days before he was rushed to the hospital by his relatives and followers because of his deteriorating health.
Mba said the deceased was diagnosed with acute anaemia and organ failure due to acute loss of weight which made it difficult for him to even stand without someone supporting him.
Attempts to replenish the pastor’s fluids with serums and liquid to nourish and boost his strength were unsuccessful, as he passed away a few hours after being admitted at the medical facility.
The late Pastor’s church members said that it was common for him to fast but not for such a long period of time which led to his death.
Marques Manuel Barajah, the brother of the deceased attributed his passing to low blood pressure and wish his soul a peaceful rest in the bosom of Abraham.
