Continuous Voter Registration: INEC says fresh registration hits 10.4m

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has revealed that fresh registration in the ongoing nationwide Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) has hit over ten million already.

The commission in its fourth quarter, week 12 update released in Abuja also disclosed that over 9 million registrants completed their registrations, out of which about 3.5 million registered online and above 6 million registrants did physical registration.

The commission also disclosed that it had so far received above 25 million applications including those for voter transfer, requests for replacement of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), updates of voter information records, among others.
