Controversy Trails Ayade’s Pan Nigeria Disposition

The recent remark by the Senator representing Northern Cross River in the National Assembly, Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe on why the Northern part of Nigeria should not be deceived by Governor Ayade has attracted condemnation from Linus Obogor from the media unit of the Governor’s office who described Senator Jarigbe’s opinion as primordial hatred for the Governor since becoming Senator by the sheer act of opportunism and duplicity.

But in a swift reaction, Senator Jarigbe said that most politicians and their agents are deceitful from his own experience as he recalled seeing Governor Ayade dressed in a complete “Housa” native attire yet portrayed dislike for the people of Northern extraction.

Jarigbe is astonished that the Governor declined signing the Anti-open Grazing Bill into Law because, in his disposition, he could not deprive his brothers of the North from carrying out their legitimate trade, boasting that Cross River State is unbeatable when it comes to nepotism and discrimination.

He said the politics of not signing the Anti-open Grazing Bill has nothing to do with Ayade’s acclaimed love for the Hausa/Fulani people but has everything to do with the politics of APC overlooking 2023.
