Crisis in CRS PDP, Jarigbe reacts to Ayade’s outburst
Hon. Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe has called the recent statement- Enough is Enough, by Sen. Ben Ayade, governor of Cross River State as an emotional outburst.
Ayade who made the statement on Friday while receiving the Bauchi State Governo,r Bala Mohammed who paid him a courtesy visit in Calabar, was referring to people struggling the leadership of the party with him in the state.
Jerigbe who is the member representing Ogoja/Yala federal constituency in the green chamber of the National Assembly said that trouble started when Governor Ayade handed over his control of the last disputed ward and chapter congress nomination to his brother, Frank Ayade to compile the listof nominees from his closet contrary to the laid down rules of the party.
And continuing, he said the decision by him to choose who replaces the late Sen. Rose Oko from Cross River North Senatorial District in the red chamber of the National Assembly did not go down well with National Assembly members and PDP stakeholders in the state.
The raking house member said, “Those who go to Equity must go with clean hands” for justice to prevail.
