Cross River 2023 Reps race: Labour candidate suggested to unseat incumbent

The PRO of a chapter of the Labour Party, Apostle Kofi Edet has said that the Labour Party Candidate for Calabar South, Akpabuyo and Bakassi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives will emerge victorious in 2023.

Edet who is the General Overseer of River of Life Ministries in a chat with LENS Reporter on Wednesday said that Rt. Hon. Dominic Aqua Edem having served as a member of the Cross River State House of Assembly and Commissioner in the Niger Delta Development Commission -NDDC has the requisite qualification to unseat the incumbent Rt. Hon. Apostle Essien Ayi of The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the National Assembly.

He used the occasion to welcome the proposed change in the design of the naira noting that politicians have stockpiled money to buy votes which is an electoral offence and promised to mobilize support for his principal to win the 2023 general elections.
