Cross River 223: NRM denies involvement in opposition group endorsement of PDP gubernatorial candidate

The NRM governorship candidate in the Cross-River State March 18, 2023 governorship and state assembly elections Mr. Patrick Solomon aka “PATSOL” has condemned his inclusion in the Coalition of Oppositional Political Parties public notice of endorsing Onor as trending in the Social Media.

In a statement made available to newsmen Monday signed by Iquo Ukpong, Global Campaign Manager of Patrick Solomon 2023 Gubernatorial Campaign in Cross River State urged all NRM members and supporters to discard the piece of information but vote and make it count for NRM.

Mrs. Iquo Ukpong made it clear to the public, especially their loyal supporters not to be deceived by the utterances of Mr. Ntami Esege the Coalition of Oppositional Political Parties of Cross River State (COPPS) chairman, insisting that the NRM has not collapsed or dissolved its political structure to endorse PDP governorship candidate, Senator (Prof.) Sandy Onor as NRM was not privy to the arrangement and has not been properly briefed on the purported plan.

Efforts to get clarification from Mr. Ntami Esege to comment on the issue was not feasible as at time of filing this report.
