Cross River Assembly member to be interred on eve of bye-elections
The remains of Rt. Hon. (Lady) Elizabeth Edem Ironbar, a member representing Akpabuyo State Constituency in the Cross River State House of Assembly is designated to be interred on Friday, February 25, 2022, prior to bye-elections on Saturday to fill the vacancy created by her exit.
The two terms lawmaker of the State legislature was 67 and died in 2021.
In a chat with LENS Reporter, Mr. Princewill who spoke for Deacon Royal S. Ebong said there will be a valedictory session in Cross River State House of Assembly, service of songs at Assembly Quarters in Ekorinim, and lying-in-state in her compound before the final journey to Akpabuyo for interment.
