Cross River education ministry releases 2025 primary six examination results
The Cross River State Ministry of Education has released the 2025 primary six placement examination results charging candidates to visit the state ministry of Education website to access their results.
Releasing the official results at the conference hall of the state ministry of Education Tuesday in Calabar, Commissioner for Education, Prof. (Senator) Stephen Odey urged candidates to visit the ministry ‘s website for checking of their results.
“As we released the results, your certificates will also be available for collection. That is the new system that we have now in ministry of Education.
Breakdown of candidates who sat for the 2025 primary six placements’ examinations stood at 46, 438, 000.
Number of candidates that passed are 43,414 with a percentage of 93.5%. Those that failed the examination stood at one thousand five hundred and nine students stressing that average of 2.35 failed the exams.
The Commissioner stressed that students with pending results is 1,500 for reason of nonpayment or not offloading like I told you everything is now digitalized.
“So, if the principal or head teacher collected money and kept and did not off load appropriately, this is an opportunity for them to come to the ministry and look at it for regularization.
“If it’s possible for us to address that we’ll do. And if it’s not, I think such children will have to wait until next academic session.
“On our part, we will continue to introduce new reforms, new innovation to ensure that Cross River education system remains the best”. He maintained.
The don stated that certificates of candidates will be issued alongside the examination results and not testimonials as the ministry had work tirelessly to ensure they meet up with the standard set by stakeholders of the Education Ministry.
