Cross River local government aspirant promises people oriented representation

Etta Bassey, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) councillorship aspirant in the November 2nd 2024 local government elections in Calabar Municipality, Cross River State has promised to change the narrative of representation if elected at the poll as councilor for ward 6.

A native of Ikot Ishie, Etta Bassey while talking to newsmen in Calabar on Saturday said he will operate a door-to-door policy in an open space devoid of delegating responsibilities to proxies as he will live with the people to share their problems and proffer solutions through an open door policy.

And corroborating, Asuquo Bassey Solomon aka “ABSOL” a media guru and ward 6 “PDP” leader said with Etta Bassey’s pedigree as a youth leader and grass-root politician, he is the aspirant to beat in the forthcoming elections because his clearance during the primaries and nomination by the party is guaranteed, insisting that he will emerge as the candidate to fly the party’s flag.

Etta Bassey is in the camp of the Chairmanship aspirant, Hon. Okon Bassey Mbora who is tipped to become the next mayor of Calabar Municipal Council in Cross River State.
