Cross River North Celebrates Jarigbe

The recent interventions by the chief justice of Nigeria (CJN,) justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad in the serial and conflicting court judgements in the country has robbed off positively on the protracted legal tussle on who replaces late Senator Rose Oko in Red chambers of the National Assembly following of her demise.

It would be recalled that counter court orders emanating from different courts of competent jurisdiction in similar cases prompted The CJN it would be recalled recently summoned seven state judges and referred three others to the National Judicial commission (NJC) for questioning with a view to addressing the worrisome development which has portrayed the judiciary in bad light.

The victory of Hon. Jarigbe Agom following the court judgement which saw his emergence as the authentic candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the by-election, is gradually edging to reality as preparations is in top gear already for his swearing-in as the Senator-elect for Cross River North Senatorial District in National Assembly.

And fielding questions from a LENS reporter, leader, Cross River North Youths for Jarigbe, Mr E. B. Maurice hinted that the occasion slated for September 14th 2021 will hold simultaneously in Ogoja, Ibil and Calabar at designated venues which cuts across party lines to appreciate his resilience as well as giving thanks to God for His protection and grace of the victory.
