Cross River youth ambassador felicitates government on democracy day
As Nigeria celebrates the 26th Anniversary of Democracy, the Cross River State Youth Ambassador on Skills Development and Certification-Engr. Bernard S. Jessey who doubles as Managing Director of BENCO Welding and Fabrication Work has congratulate the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu and his Vice-His Excellency Senator lbrahim Shettima for their smooth piloting of the affairs of the nation.
He also used the occasion to felicitate the Cross River State Governor Senator Bassey Edet Otu and his deputy, Rt. Hon. Dr Peter Odey and Hon. Barr ljom Odum Ukam, the State Commissioner for Youth Development along with Honorable Members of the House of Assembly for gingering the youths in the State to acquire skills for life thus enhancing the living standard of the people.
Jessey while fielding questions from newsmen on Thursday, June 12th 2025 in Calabar said the celebration of the 2025 Democracy Day is deserving as it rejuvenates the disposition of government towards youth empowerment programmes including skill acquisition and certification which engages this demographic ordinarily vulnerable to crimes and associated vices in the society.
