CRS 2023 elections: PDP National Assembly Members shows interest in the guber race

Two Senators and a House of Representatives member in Nigeria’s National Assembly have indicated their interest to contest the 2023 governorship elections in Cross River State on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Senators Gershom Bassey and Sandy Onor as well as Rt. Hon. Daniel Asuquo ( Dasuki) indicated their interest last week at a stakeholders forum in Calabar rationalising their intention on the need to restore the fortunes of the State from the control of the APC-led government which according to them have destroyed the economy of the State.
