DSS files terrorism charges against 2 detained Igboho’s aides; DSS lawyer says armed robbers hijack Igboho’s aides case file

The Department of State Services has filed terrorism charges against two detained aides of Yoruba Nation agitator Sunday Igboho.

The charges were filed at the Federal High Court in Abuja after over two months since the arrested and detained the 2 aides and the DSS refusal to grant them bail despite a court order.

The suit contains a 5 count terrorism charges against Noah Oyetunji and Amudat Babatunde (female). DSS alleged that Mr Oyetunji was in possession of fire arms for terrorism-related activities while Mrs Babatunde promoted terroristic acts through her Facebook account.

And in a bizzare revelation, counsel to the Department of State Service, I. Awo, has told the Federal High Court in Abuja that the case file relating to the Fundamental Human Rights Enforcement application filed by the aides to Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, was stolen by armed robbers.

He told the presiding judge, Justice Obiora Egwuatu that his colleague who was to bring the case file to court had boarded a vehicle belonging to armed robbers commonly known as ‘one chance.’

According to him, his belongings including the case file were hijacked by the armed robbers.

He asked the Court for an adjournment of the case following the development.
