Environment commissioner commends HOS for domesticating environmental sanitation exercise in ministries, MDAs in Cross River
Hon. Moses Osogi, Cross River State Commissioner for Environment has praised the Head of Service, Obol Dr. Innocent E. Eteng for his complimentary role in enhancing clean and green environment in Cross River State through the monthly Ministerial Sanitation Exercise to keep environments of government ministries and MDA’s conducive for work.
This was contained in his exclusive chat with LENS Reporter on Thursday November 28th 2024 sequel to Public Service announcement by Obol Dr. Innocent E. Eteng, Head of Service to inform all Civil/Public Servants in Cross River State of the Ministerial Sanitation Exercise for the month of November 29th 2024 scheduled to span 8:00am to 10:00am. All Permanent Secretaries, Directors and Heads of Administration according to the public statement, are enjoined to ensure full participation of their respective staff.
He further noted that the enforcement team would monitor compliance and defaulting ministry and MDA’s would be sanctioned accordingly as contained in the announcement by the Head of Service.
In addition, Osogi recused students in the State sitting for examination on Saturday, 30th November, 2024 from movement restriction during the State wide Sanitation Exercise.
