FG Inaugurates Automobile Assembly Plants; orders local purchase of vehicles by MDA’s

The Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed has inaugurated on Monday automobile assembly plants in Nnewi, Anambra State.

Also, the federal government has directed that all vehicles to be purchased under the approved federal government budget should be procured locally from local assembly manufacturers

Ahmed stated this during the inauguration of the automobile assembly plant saying the move was to encourage the growth of the Nigeria automotive industry.
