FGBMFI Calabar chapter dinner outreach urges men to surrender to God for reward of eternal life

A university lecturer majoring in Environmental Pollution and Toxicology from the University of Calabar, Prof. Udeme Udofia has said that people should be mindful of their activities while on earth as there is Gods reward for every service at the end of the day.

Udofia gave the admonition as the Second Testifier in Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International Calabar Executive chapter Dinner Outreach programme held Monday, May 20th 2024 at NAKS Hotel and Towers, Calabar, Cross River State.

Recalling Rev. 22:12 “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according to as his work shall be,” stressed that there is need for every Christian to live a life of faith, holiness, service to God and humanity so as to be rewarded appropriately after life.

In her contribution, the First Testifier, Dr. (Mrs.) Helen Eyo recalled her deliverance and victory from the antics of the devil which afflicted her with stroke and cancer after being bitten by a centipede in her home preceding the death of her husband, but returned all glory to God for the healing.

Prof. Martins Meremikwu, National Director of FGBMFI who doubles as Director of Cochrane Nigeria, Cross River Health and Demographic Surveillance System and tenured Professor of Paediatrics and Child Health at the College of Medical Sciences, University of Calabar disclosed that the fellowship was founded by a wealthy Armenian Dairy farmer Demos Shakarian in United States of America who had the burden of drawing business men to God who often drop-off their children and spouses in church and retire to hotels to unwind instead of worshiping God. This seed birth the idea of FGBMFI which has expanded to all the countries and continents of the world.

Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International has “His Banner Over Us is Love” as slogan.

A chartered Account and National Treasurer of the Fellowship, Mr. Dan Oku during alter call, urged men to surrender their lives go God as there is benefit in doing so.

The moderator of the event, Mr. Lary Idehen and chapter president appreciated all invitees for finding time to attend the event.

Dignitaries at the programme were the Cross River State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Henry Ayuk and member of State Exco and retired Permanent Secretary, Victor Inametti among others.
