FGBMFI chapter in Cross River elects new exco for 2024
The Golden Chapter of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International, has elected a new exco to pilot it’s affairs for 2024 in a meeting held on Saturday at Crispy Kitchen, Calabar, Cross River State.
The election which was conducted by the Field Representative, Mr. Imo Nse and monitored by the National Director, Prof. Martins Meremiku saw the re-election of Prof. Offiong Ani Offiong as chapter president for, Prince Emmanuel Eke as Vice President and Comrade Victor Innameti, a retired permanent secretary in the Cross River State Civil Service, as chapter secretary all for a second term.
Prof. Meremiku implored the newly elected executive members to strive to make the vision of the largest network of Christian Businessmen and ladies (laymen) with the motive to reconcile men and women to Christ through congregation in hotels in line with the aim of the Founder Demos Shekkarian, an Armenian rich dairy farmer in the United States of America.
In his advice to the group referencing Exodus 23:25 “And ye shall serve the Lord your God and he shall bless thy bread and thy water, and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee,” he stressed the importance of serving the God whole heartedly to obtain his benefits.
The Full Gospel Business men International came into Nigeria in 1983 through the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa with Mr. Sam Mbata as it’s First National President.
