FGBMFI Nigeria suggest remedy to scaling the harsh, uncertain economic climate in country

National Director of Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International in Nigeria, Prof. Martin Meremikwu in a breakfast meeting on Saturday 30th September, 2023 at Diamond Cruiz Hotel in Calabar spoke on how to break even in business in todays harsh economic climate. He urged Christians to always listen to the voice of God before embarking on any business venture to guarantee success.

Prof. Meremikwu who was represented by Deacon Neka Mbor identified insecurity and unhealthy environment as the bane of doing business in the country and called on entrepreneurs to close ranks and rejig their mentality to succeed.

In his contribution, the Key-note speaker, Pastor Harley Agabi in a talk titled “The Importance of Hearing God in a Time like This”, referenced Genesis 26:12-13 “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundred-fold and the lord blessed him and the man waxed great and went forward and grew until he became very great.” He implored Christians not to lose faith in God but to trust him for a turn-around and manifestation of his glory to be fruitful.

Brother Gbenga Ewarawon while giving a closing remark advised people against joining the “JAPA” trend as it is like embarking on a suicide mission with disastrous consequences in the end.

Moses and Emem Aquaisua of E-Commerce Chapter, the host of the Program in their vote of thanks enumerated the spiritual benefit of joining Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International as it has changed and impacted many hitherto low lives for the better through Christ Jesus.

The Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International was founded in the United States of America (USA) by a wealthy Armenian businessman and diary farm owner by name Demos Shekarian with intent to draw business men to Christ who were in the habit of dropping-off their wives and children in church on Sunday morning while passing time in hotels. This is the rationale according to them for holding the groups meetings and fellowships in hotels and restaurants to attract men and women in this clime to God.
