Fmr. APC aspirant felicitates Cross River governor-elect
A former governorship aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State, Obol Suliaman Offiong has congratulated the governor-elect of Cross River State, Senator (Prince) Bassey Edet Otu for his success at the polls in the March 18, 2023 governorship and state House of Assembly elections.
Obol Suliaman Offiong is the Head and Founder of a political support group-Intimate Alliance which worked for the success of all APC candidates from Governorship, senate, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly elections.
He is a proponent of the Back-To-South Movement which produced Prince Bassey Otu as the candidate of the APC in the governorship elections.
Obol Suliaman Offiong said the Intimate Alliance was behind the choice of Prince Bassey Otu as the most suitable person to occupy the office of governor in Cross River State as it were while fielding questions from newsmen in Calabar on Wednesday March 29, 2023.
He concluded by drumming support for the Senate Chief whip, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu to be considered for position of senate President in the 10th National Assembly to balance the zoning arrangement as the president-elect comes from the South West and Vice-President-Elect from the Northern part of the country.
