Gospel artist orchestrates 10 commandment into song
A Deputy Registrar with the court of Appeal, Calabar Division has converted the decalogue or ten commandments which are the laws given to Moses to the children of Israel into songs.
Dame Yvonne Ngozi who drew from Exodus 20: 1-17 and Deuteronomy 5:6-51, a list of prohibitions given to man by God, revealed this on Sunday at the music presentation of thirty songs in three CDS of ten songs each at the reception hall of the Anglican Cathedral Church of the Holy Trinity Anglican Diocese Calabar, in Cross River State.
The function which was moderated by Rev. Caleb Joshua had her perform and sang lyrics from the three musical albums titled “Shine Forth as Gold “ and “Delay To Dominion” which contained several tracks. Invitees were thrilled and made multiple donations at the launch.
In another development, the family worship Centre- FWC- which is a global ministry that impacts the lives of people with headquarters in Abuja and presided over by Sarah Omakwu as Senior Pastor has celebrated the first anniversary of the Calabar Branch at Pepperoni Building Church auditorium in Calabar.
The event which attracted many dignitaries features songs of praise, testimonies, and word ministration by the Resident Pastor, Peter Oko Ekaji who preached on the importance of looking up to God in every circumstance referencing Psalm 121: ” I will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence cometh my help” and admonished Christians not to despair when faced with challenges as it is a stepping stone to greater heights as no student could get promoted into a new class without passing an examination.
Family worship centre, Calabar branch started in December 2021 at Ekori-Inim and moved to Gomays Plaza before relocating to Pepperoni Building.
