‘His death is a tragedy and a great lost to me, the state and the nation’_OBA mourns late lawmaker

The Chairman, Akwa Ibom State Caucus in the National Assembly, Senator Bassey Albert Akpan aka OBA has described the death of the member representing Oron, Mbo, Okobo, Udung Uko, and Urue Offong/Oruko Federal Constituency in Akwa Ibom State on Sunday, 24th April 2022, Hon. Nse Ekpenyong as a great loss to Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria

According to the Senator representing the Uyo Senatorial district, the late Ekpenyong was a worthy representative of his people in the National Assembly and a loyal party man, noting that, he has worked with him closely for about 25 years.

“He was extremely very impactful to his community. He was a worthy representative of the state in the House of Representatives. His death is a tragedy and a great loss to Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria,” he said

While expressing sadness over his death, Senator Albert said Hon Ekpenyong was somebody very dear to him. “I spoke with him on Friday. His death is a great loss to me”, he said,

He prayed to God to give his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
