An NGO based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State has put smiles on the faces of ministers of the gospel as well as support and better the lots of the needy among them at a breakfast dinner held at the Conference Hall of Pyramid Hotel Calabar, last Saturday.
The group led by Rev. (Mrs) Stella Kalu, who is the presiding minister of Holy Ghost Women Worldwide and wife to Bishop Godson Kalu, the General Overseer of Lite Changing Power Ministry Port Harcourt said God commissioned her to give succor to Pastors and tell them “well done” for their sacrifices in the kingdom of God.
The occasion which was attended by men and women of God with calling to preach the gospel and cater for the flock was coordinated by Pastor Ofem Hope and Mrs. Ekwele Ayube designed to move from City to City to minister to servants of God who hitherto have suffered bruises but neglected are now appreciated and well taken care of while alive to encourage others.
The event featured medical talk on how Pastors should take care of themselves, welcome song by Holy Women, Port Harcourt and Calabar and presentation of gifts and books by Bishop Godson Kalu.
Fielding questions from a LENS reporter after the event, the convener and vision bearer, Rev. (Mrs.) Stella Kalu who spoke through her media aide Nneka revealed that she got the vision in Kano in 1999 to bring restoration and freedom from unnecessary afflictions to all ministers that mourn to cushion impacts of their pains and sorrows in the ministry, hence the venture to offer relief referrencing Deut. 28:8 and 1st Corinth. 15:58.
On their separate reaction to the gesture of Holy Ghost Women Worldwide Outreach, Prophet Celia Emmanuel Edet and Apostle Thomas Bassey of Zion Grace Ministries expressed gratitude for the charity and act of benevolence. They thanked God for the help which is apt in this post Covid-19 pandemic economy.
