HOR approves establishment of Electoral Offences Commission Tribunal
The bill seeking to create a National Electoral Offences Commission and an Electoral Offences Tribunal has passed second reading at the floor of the House of Representatives
The House had harmonised the version earlier passed by the Senate and transmitted it for concurrence.
The bill is to Provide for Legal Framework for the Investigation and Prosecution of Electoral Offences for the improvement of Electoral Process in Nigeria; and for Related Matters.
