“I will complete Ayade’s projects, non will be moribund”_ Governorship aspirant
A governorship aspirant under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Cross River State for the 2023 general elections, Engr. Nsa Ekpenyong Asuquo has vowed to complete ongoing projects by Senator (Prof.) Ben Ayade and never allow any functioning one to go moribund if elected to govern the state in 2023.
Nsa stated this in Calabar at the State Secretariat of the APC on Wednesday while declaring his intention to contest the governorship position in Cross River State during the 2023 general elections.
Said he, “I will ensure that no industry set-up by the administration will be left moribund and will ensure that they perform optimally, He added that most of the industries Ayade has built have the long term prosperity of putting Cross River State among the comity of economically viable states especially the vision for the Bakassi Deep Seaport Project. This he said will reduce substantially the high unemployment rate among the youth population in the state.
In his response, the state chairman of APC Alphonsus Ogar Eba lauded the aspirant for donating the latest Toyota Hiace bus to facilitate mobility thereby impacting the activities of the party in the state.
Meanwhile, the governorship aspirant has commenced construction of a 2km road network at Esuk Odot community in Odukpani local council area which has gladened the minds of residents as seen in their reactions.
In their separate responses, the village Head of Esuk Odot Community, Chief Okon Edet Oken, a former Councilor, Hon. Ukpong poured encomiums on his magnanimity and promised to mobilize the populace towards the success of his political ambition of taking over from Governor Ayade in 2023.
